This one is for the boys.

So you wanna ditch a girl? Well don’t slink away like a slimeball, don’t disappear into thin air.  Call her or meet up for coffee.  Atleast do it to her face. Be a friggin’ man about it. It’s gonna be awkward as all hell at first but believe me, you’ll have a greater chance of ending up as friends this way.  Just my .02

because I wore my newest find out today.  Gold ruched leather, 3 and 1/2 inch, signature red sole, Christian Louboutin stilletos! I just absolutely love, love, love them.  I guess travelling for work does have its perks after all.

Maisondepadgett_label

I first discovered the Maison de Padgett tasting room on a business trip to Wenatchee, WA.  We had stopped for lunch at a tiny Bavarian village called Leavenworth.  My favorites are the Funky Monkey Pinot Noir Ice Wine, Singing Toad Late Harvest Riesling, Afterglow Rose, Risque Chardonnay and End of the Road Malbec.  The actual winery, located in Zillah, WA, is a sight to behold as well.  They have lovely European style gardens that are perfect for escaping the Yakima valley heat.  Doing the chauffeured limo tour is a must!

Celebration of Light

Thursday, August 4th, 2005

Heading up to Van again this weekend.  This time to see the finale of the annual Celebration of Light fireworks contest.  Nat is having another fireworks party - this time she wants to do chocolate fondue. She has one of the best views of English Bay and from 27 floors up, there’s no need to worry about the hundreds of thousands of people making their way out of downtown.  Canada, Sweden and China are this year’s contestants.

DisRespectacles - 117 W Broadway, NYC

I came across this store when I was in NYC a couple of months ago.  At the time, I was not looking for a new pair of glasses.  My recent obsession with Ic! Berlin jolted my memory of browsing this virtual museum of frames while walking up Broadway Ave.  I was despondent since the stores that carry Ic! Berlin here in Seattle required that I drive to their store in order to pick up the pair.  (Busy girls never have time you know!)  But one phone call to Amy at DisRespectacles and my lust for consumerism was once again at bay.  I ended up picking the Cihan model frames and I just love, love, love them.  The pic below shows them in matte copper but I ended up getting them in matte gray.  It took me a couple times before I got the hang of the hinge but I think I’ve got it down pat.
